Knowledge-based companies and their products are becoming one of the main components of the country's economy, which has a special place as a driver of the country's innovation economy and one of the important options for non-oil exports. The question that arises here is the alignment degree of the products of these companies with the current capabilities of the Iranian economy. For this reason, in this study, we have tried to examine the current situation of competitive products of the Iranian economy and knowledge-based companies from the perspective of complexity index and product space map.
The findings of this study indicate that in terms of the complexity of the products of knowledge-based companies, they have taken a different path compared to Iran's economy. The results show that if they support knowledge-based companies which are in line with the country's productive capabilities, we can see the growing growth and development of these companies and, consequently, the country's economy.
